Step 1. Make sure skin is exfoliated before treatment using Fake Bake Polish or Fake Bake Green Tea & ginger Spa Scrub- Salon Size. Both of these products have been specifically formulated to improve absorption and efficiency of self-tanning products. These products will not leave a soap residue that can prevent even penetration of tanning products. Make sure skin is free from make-up, deodarants, oils lotions and perfumes.Step 2: Apply Fake Bake Skin Smoothie Oil to feet hands, elbows and knees. This helps the tanning products to smooth over these areas. Step 3: ALWAYS wear gloves and a facemask when spraying. Step 4: Start with back to you. Using circular motions 6 to 8 inches from skin, start spraying shoulder area. If product starts to run,you are too close. Stop and gently blend in. Spray down one side and repeat on the other side. Repeat on front. Bend elbows and knees when spraying. Step 5: Lightly spray hands and feet using an up and down motion. Step 6: Spray face last. Remove mask and hold breath while spray face with an up and down motion while slowly move head from left to right. Avoid contact with water or perspiration for 4 hours. For long lasting tan, leave product on skin for extended time before bathing. Does not contain sunscreen so it is recommed using Fake bake SPF 30 lotion which has been specifically formulated to use over their tan for protection in the sun.
